RETURNS POLICY
Submit a return request
Click here or go to the returns page.
1. Log in to your account - In the Email field, enter your email address, and then click Continue.
- In your email account, open the email sent from our store and copy the six-digit verification code included in the email.
- Go back to the online store, and then enter a six-digit verification code.
2. Click the order that you want to submit the return for.
3. If your order has more than one item, then select the items that you want to return.
4. Select a return reason and add a note for the store.
5. Click Request return. If your return request is approved and requires shipping, then you will receive an email with shipping instructions. After the product is returned, you receive a refund.
Conditions of Return
If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you can return it to us for a full refund, provided that the items are returned within 30 days of the order date, unworn, unwashed and undamaged, in the original packaging (wherever possible) and with all accessories and tags attached. All refunds are issued at the discretion of MKM Originals. MKM Originals reserves the right to refuse a refund request if it does not comply with these conditions. Please note that MKM Originals does not accept returns (unless goods are faulty or not as ordered) on sale items. Sale items purchased are final sale, so please choose carefully.
Packaging an Item for Return
Please pack the item securely into the original packaging (where possible) and include the packing slip. If you are unable to enclose the packing slip, please ensure your order number, name, and billing address is included, along with your instructions. All return postage must be prepaid by the returnee, unless the item was damaged, defective, or if we’ve sent you the wrong item.
Where Can I Make a Return
For all returns, please log in to your account where you can navigate to your order and request a return on the item you wish.
Please note, you cannot return items bought from the Manawatu Knitting Mills Outlet Store or from any other MKM stockists across the globe.
Once your return has been approved, you will receive an email notification with shipping instructions to return the garment(s).
We highly recommend that you obtain a tracking number.
Method Of Return Payment
A full refund of the purchase price will be issued to the original payment method for all items confirmed and returned in a re-saleable condition as soon as we receive your returned item. This will exclude your original shipping costs (unless goods are faulty or not as ordered). While the refund is immediate at our end, depending on your bank or chosen payment method, it may take a few days to appear in your account.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
